Rakkada Museum

The Rakkada Museum of Islamic Arts was established in 1986. Housed in a former presidential palace, this museum specializes in medieval Islamic arts. It has a collection of manuscripts and pages of the Koran including the famous blue Koran written in golden letters.

The Museum also presents exceptional artistic works: ceramics, glass, bronze and above all a set of coins representative of different medieval periods.
